Some details don't need to take up much space to be noticed. Our W is one of them. A subtle signature on your favorite knit, a soft beanie, or the extra layer you take with you out the door. A small detail that ties our styles together – and tells where they come from.
You might already know the letter. Here is the story behind it.
From Wuth Cashmere to Wuth Copenhagen
The story begins in 2014, when designer Birgitte Wuth founded the brand with a special fondness for cashmere. With a design background from Paris and Copenhagen, the starting point was clear: soft natural materials, well-thought-out details, and styles with a long life in the wardrobe. Back then, we were called Wuth Cashmere. A quite fitting name for a brand where the soft fiber played the leading role.
It still does. But the wardrobe grew. Wool coats and jackets were added, followed by light basic styles in silk and cashmere. The name therefore became Wuth Copenhagen – with room for more natural materials and a clear connection to the city we call home.

Danish design with a vision
Birgitte’s inspiration comes, among other things, from travels, cities, and meeting other cultures. New impressions find their way into the collections through colors, shapes, and small details. At the same time, the expression has a calm starting point. Clean lines, wearable silhouettes, and materials that feel good against the skin.
It is Danish design with an eye for the life around us. Because the clothing must work on an ordinary Tuesday. Even if the inspiration began in Paris.

Discreet, classic and simple.
That was the thinking behind our logo. We wanted a signature you could recognize, without it taking over the rest of your outfit. A small W that finds its place in the design and lets the material, the fit, and the person wearing it take center stage.
That is why the logo is intended as a detail. Something you might notice right away. Or perhaps only when you get closer.

The little detail that ties it all together
From cashmere knitwear and accessories to outerwear, the W is a common signature. A connecting link between different materials and collections – and between the first designs and those yet to come. It reminds us of where we began and what we keep returning to: natural materials, comfort, and classic elegance. For us, much of the joy of good design lies precisely in the details. The ones that feel natural when you put on the clothes, and that make you want to wear them again.

A design begins with us, but gains its own story with the one who wears it. Your cardigan over the chair. The scarf that is always ready. The sweater you intended to save for the weekend, but put on already on Monday.
That is where our styles belong. In use. In everyday life. And preferably for many years.
